Doolin Creek

DO YOU KNOW WHERE YOUR STORM DRAINS FLOW?

Doolin creek stretches from the western hills of Ukiah to the Russian River. The majority of the creek only has flows during the winter months, and serves as a channel for stormwater runoff. The creek is surrounded by residential, commercial, open space and recreational land.

Doolin Creek is a valuable community resource capable of supporting a variety of habitats and wildlife. In 2015 the City prepared the Doolin Creek Enhancement Plan, which provided long-term guidance for the preservation and enhancement of the healthy portions of the creek, restoration and enhancement of degraded areas, and reestablishing parts of the creek as a place for human use and appreciation.
